Completed in May 2020, this project included the design and fabrication of the RIE building, BPCS and SIS control panels, UPS, control network and complete configuration of the control system logic, safety logic and HMI. The technology platform is based on ControlLogix PLC, Stratix Ethernet Devices and GE iFix HMI.
We worked as consultants and main developers along with an experienced team of engineers from the customer side to produce a new generation HMI, using standard programming and tools that allow the customer to migrate their obsolete HMI platform in hundreds of plants to the newest technology with minimum effort. Completed in 2018.
From 2017 through 2020 we have partnered with Domtech Services to provide several Vibration Monitoring Systems for expansion turbines, Syngas, CO, H2 and O2 compressors for two gas facilities in the Gulf Coast. The project included GE Bently Nevada technology procurement, panel design and assembly, configuration, integration to DeltaV control system and site installation and support
CVMax Solutions provided engineering services from 2016 to 2017 to implement a customized solution for anti-surge control of multiple compressors in a US-Canada pipeline. The project consisted on customizing the Rockwell Automation SSCC system, which is based on the CompactLogix PLC, to meet the user particular requirements. The goal was to implement the same solution in 25 compressors in their pipeline.
In 2014, CVMax Solutions participated as turbomachinery control experts along with the Rockwell Automation engineering office in upgrading a 80 MW two stage steam turbine-generator for a Paper Mill. This included a ControlLogix based control system, redundant FactoryTalk View HMI, XM Vibration Monitoring, and XM Overspeed Protection.
CVMax Solutions was contracted in 2012 thanks to our wide expertise in PLC programming and HMI development to collaborate with a gas products market leader to develop a commercial solution for Hydrogen production. Today, this solution has been successfully implemented in multiple facilities increasing the H2 production process efficiency.

After collaborating with Praxair, Inc. in developing a commercial solution for their hydrogen production technology, CVMax have been part of the team implementing this solution in multiple facilities along the US and South America.
We have designed and constructed the control panels for many of our projects and for different industrial environments. Our designs follow the best engineering practices and includes a full comprehensive set of AutoCAD drawings. The panels are delivered after an exhaustive process of factory tests.
